Wilborn Dreadnought

Indian Rosewood/Heirloom Sitka Spruce + Arm Bevel + Sound Port + Waverly tuners

This is a great sounding and very versatile guitar with lots of power and drive, but equally capable of great subtlety. A lightweight version of a prewar Martin, with bracing adapted to give the guitar a more present midrange, and a warmer high end. Ben's version has a little more depth to the body resulting in an explosive rhythm sound, and a very out-front lead tone.

Lowden 32SE

Indian Rosewood / Sitka Spruce

The latest evolution of the thinner body Stage Edition. Comes standard with the narrower neck ~ cutaway ~ dot inlays and Baggs Anthem pickup system. Clean and articulate but warm and punchy with excellent feedback rejection. Made for the stage, but with a big big sound for its size, scary!

Wilborn L-Style

Cocobolo/ Heirloom Sitka Spruce + Waverly Tuners + Baggs Anthem pickup + Custom Ameritage Case

Based on a mid -1930′s Gibson L-00, this short scale, 14-fret guitar is a pleasure to play. A small body makes it easy to hold and Ben's bracing allows the top to really flex, creating a sweet, fat sound. Though the original L-00 is often described just as a “Blues Box”, the Wilborn L, has much more range. Finger style players as well as flatpickers alike, love this instrument.

Sold

Lowden Millenium Twins O & S cutaway

Set # 25 of 25. 2nd Hand Possibly the only complete set remaining. Very good condition.

From naturally fallen trees, the unique 'Twins' aspect is part of the way the woods are selected. The body and top woods in every twinned pair are from the same billets of claro walnut and redwood respectively, from adjacent cuts so that the grain and figuring match as perfectly as possible.

In the usual Lowden manner, the design is understated and classical - the ebony fingerboard in bound with pear-wood, the bodies are maple bound, claro walnut is used for the heel cover and to face the headstock. The neck is the usual five-piece Lowden construction. A small MM logo, for 2000, is set on the heel cover. The bridges are rosewood, and there is an abalone inlay rosette, but no fretboard top markers.
